MODELING CONFERENCE AND COMPETITION
Deja Vu Modeling is back from the conference and competition for acting and modeling. We are so proud of our 28 models/actors.
Deja Vu Won Director's Choice agency of the year. Along with 16 awards....ranging from runway to bathing suit to monologues, commercials and cold readings. Not to mention photography awards for the portfolio work. Also, the fact that there were over a combined 100 call-backs. The best is we are presently negotiating acting and modeling contracts world wide from New York to Tokyo.
Models and Actors: I am so proud of everyone! You all truly make me love my job and I am so glad you are all with Deja Vu. Pictures to come soon!
EXCITING NEWS!
Deja Vu Modeling will be moving. Starting November 1 we will be in our new studio. It is presently undergoing major renovations. This will allow Deja Vu to open new class times with more days as options and not to mention the acting classes. There will also be more times for Open call. This will also allow us to run a childrens walking program ages 7-9.
Deja Vu Modeling is also going to be partnering up with Labelle Studio of Music. (website coming soon) Curtis Labelle will be offering Piano and Voice lessons in the music room. He is currently the Deja Vu acting instructor. He is very talented and is a graduate of RDC and has directed musicals such as "ANNE OF GREEN GABLES". More info to come.
This is a very exciting venture and Deja Vu Modeling & Labelle studio of Music will be having a Grand opening, open house. Date to be announced.
Deja Vu Modeling and Bower Place Shopping Center's 6th Annual Model Search
Well another successful year for Deja Vu and Bower's Model search. With an enormous turn out the judges had a very hard time narrowing it down. Congratulations to all those who entered and to all that placed top 20, top 10, and to all the divisional winners. Deja Vu Modeling & Bower Mall Present: The Sixth Annual Fall Model Search 2008
Where: Bower Place Shopping Center at Center Court
Date: September 6, 2008 (Saturday)
Time: Registration - 12am-2:00pm / Search at 2pm - Polaroids and measurements
Search - 3pm-finish
Announcement of winners - 4pm
Age/Divisions: 5yrs-8yrs, 9yrs-12yrs, 13yrs-15yrs, 16yrs and Up
Judges: Sabrina Notte (owner of Deja vu Modeling), Harley Hay (deja vu Photographer) Nina Hay (make up Artist for Deja vu Modeling), Julie Gillespie (International Model), Joelle Brown (Bower Place PR Manager), Surprise Guest (International Model Agency Head Scout)
The overall winner will receive:

- 2 year starting contract with Deja Vu Modeling International

Another year over and our Year End Show was a success.
I was and am so proud of all the students that participated in the show. You were all fabulous. Everyone has grown over this last year so much and I (of course) was a bit teary eyed as the night came to a close.
For those of you still in training I was blown away by how wonderfully you did at the show. I am really excited to see you all again in the fall.

New York City Lights Fashion Show Fundraiser
Deja Vu Modeling would love to thank the models, parents, Soundman Inc., Harley Hay, Mary Kay, Bower Place Shopping Center, Talk of the Town, Label Apparel, Risque Couture, Winners, Suzy Shier, Magician's Corset, guests and to all the silent auction donators for all their support.
New York City Lights III was nothing but spectacular and felt like a true New York Fashion week Fashion show. I am so very proud of my models for looking as amazing as usual and being so professional.
The models were able to raise over $4000.00 on silent auctions, toward their trip. Cheers to another great show.
