Local Model
To be a local model we are looking for all shapes, sizes and ages.

International Model
To be an international model you must be at least 12 years old. If you are younger, do not fret, we will just have more time to prepare you.

Females

Height

If you are between the ages of 12 & 14:
5'1" and up
If you are over 14 years:
5'5" and up

Measurements

Bust: 30" - 34"
Waist: 22" - 26"
Hips: 32" - 36"

Body

Your body must be thin and in great shape.

Skin

Must be taken care of, fresh and smooth.

Teeth

Must be taken care of, white and preferably straight

Men

Height

16 & over:
5'10" & up

Measurements

Chest: 37" - 40"
Waist: 28" - 33"
Hips: 37" - 40"

Body

Your body must be in great shape, lean with muscle definition.

Skin

Must be taken care, fresh and smooth.

Teeth

Must be taken care of, white and preferably straight.

Additional Comments
If you do not fit into some of the requirements do not give up. Deja vu will make the decision on which division you would best suit. Nobody knows when your growth spurt will happen and skin does clear up. Remember braces do come off.

Almost every young girl and boy dreams of being in the spotlight, weather on the big screen, in a magazine or on a runway. Unfortunately, it is because of these passionate individuals that scam artists stay afloat. Future models and talents must protect themselves against being taken advantage of. In the modeling world there are many agencies that are in it for the quick buck and you do not want to be the one caught up in it. Below are some helpful hints to get yourself educated so you do not get yourself into a sticky situation, where a potentially great experience turns out to be a bad one.

1. Ensure the agency is credible
- They must have international models placed and working
- They must have proof of international placement and work with tear sheets(from magazines) and contracts

2. Never pay an agency fee. Models must pay for their training, photography and personal promotional items. They should not pay for the mother agents time upfront. An agent will make money when you make money.

3. Must have legitimate certificates stating the mother agent, and her assistants, are knowledgeable in the modeling and talent world. If your agent states that are xmodels have them produce work that was published of themselves. That way you will know if you are being taught the right stuff. Weather you are a local model or international.

4. Ask for model and parent references within the agency. You should not be afraid to do this. This is your child’s or your future and investment at hand, so find out what other models and parents think.

5. Do not feel like another number in a massive agency franchise…your mother agent should not only be your agent they should be your friend and they should know your name.

6. Ensure the agency has a professional website.

7. Be sure they do not give you false hope. You must meet the criteria to be an international model. They should let you know if you are local or international but you should be treated equally either way.

8. Never accept free photography from anyone you do not know. A professional photographer will call your mother agent and they will then get a hold of you. That way it will keep you safe from any bad doers out there. Never give personal information or money to anyone without understanding 100% what you are giving up money/information for. Be smart and think with your head.

With the growing population in Red Deer & C. Alberta you are bound to see more and more agencies and fly by night operations popping up, so please take the above information and use it wisely.
